Winter Party Centerpieces

The holidays were very special for Cheeks Celebrations. We had the opportunity to be involved with a few amazing Winter Parties! Check out our latest centerpieces below.

The venue was at the beautiful Cool Cafe, downtown San Antonio!
We used a simple glass vase with marble filler. The ribbon, ornament and personalized topper were the perfect final touch to the already amazing hydrangeas!

Puppy Party!

When Cheeks Celebrations decided to create a Puppy Paw-ty design, we had no idea we would be doing a full out doggie shindig by the end of the year! Zoey Dee's birthday was made special by invitations, a dog-friendly cake, personalized favor bags with specialty dog treats, and colorful balloons. This was fun!

Baby Shower

A little birdie is on the way so we chose one of our favorite themes for hosting a friends baby shower. Between the detailed tablescapes, custom gift boxes, themed diaper cake and hanging lanterns, there was no way the party wouldn't be a smash hit! Let us know what you think and keep us in mind for future showers!

Country Fair

Wow, if you're not already in the Fall mood then Graham's Country Fair by Cakewalk will get you there and fast! How fun!

Poms Galore

From Cheeks Celebrations
One of our favorite ways to add that special touch to a party is the ever so popular decorative tissue poms! Whoever came up with this is a genius! The possibilities are endless as seen below...

From Martha Stewart Weddings
How to Make the Pom-Poms
You'll need tissue paper and 24-gauge white cloth-covered floral wire.

Hanging Pom-Poms
1. Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue. Make 1 1/2-inchwide accordion folds, creasing with each fold.

2. Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist. With scissors, trim ends of tissue into rounded or pointy shapes.
3. Separate layers, pulling away from center one at a time.
4. Tie a length of monofilament to floral wire for hanging.

From Party Poms

You can make garland, stems, or napkin holders. Poms even work as tree decoration and
                                                            centerpieces!

Add a pom to your next celebration!

Charlie's Dinosaur Birthday Party

Cheeks Celebrations owner, Claudette Guerrero, just threw her 4 year old a dino-mite birthday party! From food to activities, this party was a blast! Check out some of the highlights below :-)

The sweets were delicious and on theme.

The kids dug for dinosaur fossils, had growing dinos at the lab, and created dinosaur foot prints in the play dough.

Cheeks Celebrations ordered dinosaur masks and customized the girls with homemade bows.

The pinata was bigger than the birthday boy!

Cheap. Simple. Favors.

Cheeks Celebrations is in the midst of planning a Baby Shower this month. We're always looking for easy favors for any occasion and look what we've come across. Chelsea Fuss had this sweet & simple chocolate shower favor idea.

To make them you’ll need: Chocolate candies in gold wrapping, unbleached parchment paper, rayon trimming ribbon (available here: http://www.custompaper.com/Shop/Ribbon/midori_rayon_trimming.html ), and double stick tape.

Then simply:
1. Wrap the candies in parchment paper and secure with double stick tape.
2. Wrap with rayon trimming ribbon.
3. Line them up to display or place one on each napkin.

According to Chelsea, these will cost 10c each to make!
